Winter Ascent of Ben Nevis

Winter is arguably the best time of year to climb the Ben. The crowds are long gone and the views can be magnificent, with the surrounding peaks blanketed in snow. It's a much more challenging outing, however; you can find yourself wading through deep, fresh snow which obliterates the path and makes navigation tricky. It can be tiring too, and you need a good level of fitness to undertake a winter climb.
We can supply specialist equipment (eg ice axe and crampons) required for winter mountaineering.
